are you open on holidays? what holidays?

River Academy will be closed on all major holidays such as: New Year’s Eve, New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Day after, Christmas Eve and Day. If a holiday falls on a weekend (Saturday or Sunday), the Academy will be closed on the following Monday. Any days we will be closed will be announced here. We will use our own discretion to close for snow days.

what if my child has food allergies?

If your child has allergies, please notify the Director and staff upon enrollment. Special consideration will be taken at meal times. In the case a child needs a meal modification, such as soy milk, a meal modification form must be filled out and signed by a doctor.

when can I drop off / pick up my child(ren)?

Drop-off can begin as early as 6 am if your child is enrolled in a before-school program for school-age or the early childhood program. Every child should be dropped off no later than 9 am (7:45a.m. for school-age children who also need transportation to school and will eat breakfast). Pick up is no later than 6 pm if enrolled in the after-school program or early childhood. School hours can be found here.

What if I only need part-time care or help with remote learning?

River Academy accepts children who are only part-time based on limited availability. Students enrolled in remote learning who only need assistance a couple of days a week are welcome to enroll depending on the space available.
